Product Review: Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette in The Dolce Vita

First I loved it.

Then I wasn’t so sure.

Now I’m back to getting butterflies every time I use a certain product.

Which product you may ask? Well it’s none other than the Charlotte Tilbury Luxury Palette in The Dolce Vita.

Now, I know this is quite a pricey product. I think that’s part of why I fell out of love with it for a while. However, the shadows are buttery and blendable and the varied shades in the palette allow you to create so many different looks.

The highlight shade is subtly shimmery and looks amazing as an upper brow bone highlight or as a cheekbone highlight (yes, strobing has been a recent favorite). The darker bronze shade is definitely my favorite. It’s an amazing lid color that’s easy to smoke out for a more dramatic look when needed.

If you’re going for the drama, the next two shades are made for you. The chunkier glitter shade is perfect for a night out. Pop some in the middle of your eye lid or go a little crazy and put it all over the lid–I won’t judge you! The last color is great for placing in the crease and is a lovely transition color.

All in all, this palette is a major win. The quality of the shadows can’t be beat and you can create so many beautiful looks with this palette. If you can spare the cash and want to treat yourself to a luxurious product, look no further!

P.S. Charlotte Tilbury does a great tutorial using this palette—check it out here!
