Product Review: Coty Airspun Loose Powder

If you saw my last post, you know I recently picked up a new loose powder. However, since I am trying very hard to save money, I thought I’d check out a less expensive alternative, Coty’s Airspun Loose Powder.

I found the powder at Walgreens and it was about $7.00. The only shade available was Translucent Extra Coverage.

My first impression of this powder was that it was very finely milled but also pretty strongly scented. Although the perfume-y smells fades away, if you’re sensitive to fragrance you may want to steer clear of this product.

I used the powder first to bake under my eyes, on my nose and on my forehead using a cosmetic sponge. Then I used the powder all over to set my foundation and concealer. Although this product comes with a powder puff, I used a brush. My skin looked smooth and not cakey at all.

This powder wore very well throughout the day. My nose got slightly shiny but the rest of my face stayed pretty matte which is always an amazing feat.

Overall, I am very impressed with this powder and am so excited to have found an affordable loose powder that makes my skin look great and lasts all day.

If you have tried this powder, tell me in the Comments section!
